Conventional Dating is Boring
The movies are a terrible date. Most people consider going out to the movies to be this wonderful date idea, but it is really just a completely bad idea to mix the dark with sticky foods and whispered conversations. It’s just too easy to fall back on the conventional idea of what a good date is. Restaurants and movie theatres completely represent a lack of imagination in romance and many people are just happy to fall into what is comfortable.
Some of the best dates are the ones that would completely blow your mind. Hang gliding, hot air ballooning, a short trip over to another state to have a picnic at the ocean. These are the dates that make memories, the ones that people talk about to their friends and co-workers that make them completely jealous.
Try to use a little imagination when you are planning your dates. Don’t fall back on the easy dates that you have been brought up to think are acceptable. Cook your own dinner, watch a movie on the television at your house, this in itself might sound boring, but it really breaks away from the conventional dating locations that have been approved by generations before you.
Imagination and dating should go hand in hand. A date is an opportunity to impress someone, the someone that you want to maybe get to know a little or a lot better. As soon as you break away from the traditional date and make the date your own, the sooner you will be viewed as a real thinker and quite a catch.
