Meeting the First Time

Now that you have finally got the first date it is time to meet up for the very first time. Once you have chatted online and talked with your date over the phone for some time, it is only natural for the next step to be to meet. Start by making arrangements to meet in a public place. Don’t ever allow someone to pick you up at your home but rather meet them out. Make sure to tell a friend where you are going and what time you are leaving. Also be sure to call them during your date to let them know how it is going. Once you return home also let them know that you made it home safely. If at any time during your date you feel pressured, there is no reason to stay and finish out the date. Leave immediately if your date is pressuring you. Perhaps the biggest rule to meeting your first online date is to not drink. This is simply because it will impair your judgment and you may make choices that you would not normally make. You need to have a clear mind for your date so that your safety is not in jeopardy.
